In the USA, most people graduate high school in the 12th grade at 18.

Typically, the year you complete high school depends on the age you started kindergarten, whether or not you skipped a class and if you repeated a grade.

Most children will start Kindergarten at age 5  and will continue through elementary school, to middle school, and eventually graduate high school by the time they’re 18. 

Typically students start high school as a Freshman in Grade 9 at 14- 15.

They then move on to Grade 10, where they’re known as Sophomores at 15-16 years old. 

In Junior year they’re in Grade 11 and are typically 16-17 years old.

Students will graduate their Senior year of high school in Grade 12 at 17-18.
